Fruits and Vegetables

Just an observation: when you're trying to go REALLY heavy on the fruits and vegetables, it's hard to get enough calories.  I felt like I never stopped eating yesterday!  Although in the end I got about 600 calories of fruit and vegetables in - that's almost half my calories in that goodness :) feels great!

Yeah for fruits and veggies!! I had at least 5 servings for lunch yesterday myself. Whoo hoo!

Fruits and veggies are great, try to go lighter on the fruits and heavier on the veggies if you can. Fruit is great but to make sure you are getting enough calories make sure you are eating plenty of protein and plenty of healthy fats. Fat won't make you fat(that's a myth) try cooking with coconut oil, butter(ghee), olive oil, eat nuts and seeds, cheese. You'll get plenty of calories and you'll have energy and you won't gain weight. Trust me I'm down 60lbs and if I don't get in the fat, I don't have the energy..
